Well this is it, folks. The round where we make our stand. And by 'we', I mean myself, Candice, Colleen, and Hunter. There's been writing on the wall for weeks about the pre-game alliance between Lex, Brett, DD, and Kim. The best part is, they've seemingly made no attempt to disspell these rumors. They let us take out Erinn and Natalie (a move I still agree with b/c they were being kinda devious and horrible in challenges), but it did kill two people who weren't in that foursome. I've been going on Colleen's lead this whole game, and I've never questioned her judgement at all. This obviously isn't a winning strategy, but it is the Chameloen strategy that I'm adopting for the first half of this game
So anyways, you might be asking yourself how the hell 4 people are supposed to out-vote five? Well it starts with everybody assuring Lex and co. that we are good with Hunter as the vote. I feel Kim trusts myself and Colleen right now to tell her the truth, and we've been doing nothing out of the normal with her. It kinda sucks straight up lying to KP, but I never had the feeling she's had my back in this game as much as she has previously. She most likely wanted to use my old trust to keep her safe, but unfortunately for her, I won't be doing that.
So step 1 is to lie the shit out of the foursome + Jenna (who we wish was on our side, but has multiple times defended Brett/Lex so no way we trust her with this info). Step 2 is to use my 2x nullifier that I just picked up to cancel Brett and Lex's votes. That'll make it 4 votes Brett, 3 votes Hunter (or someone else, but seems like it'll be him, could be myself maybe). With this, the lying tht everybody is good to vote for Hunter keeps rewards from being played by the other side. If there's one thing I know about Brett/Lex, they only play rewards when they know they absolutely have to. I can't recall a time where they've thrown away rewards on a vote where they feel highly confident it will go their way. As long as we keep hold tht Hunter is going, then there's a decent shot this works.
After this round, I'll know whether I'm good to go for a couple more rounds, or if I'm on the next train out of Tonga to Redemption. As the title says, I'll either live free or die hard. Somewhat of a big risk going on here, but this game is for the big boys. I'm here to prove that I can be one of them.
