Sorry for the delay. Took a bit longer to get judges than anticipated.
Your judges are:
This means 200 points are at stake for everyone!
First up, let's split everyone into who did what.
STORYTELLER
DD
Heidi
Parvati
Yau-Jess*
WRITE YOUR OWN
Anthony
Tracy
Didn't Write Enough**
Austin
Michelle
*Yau-Jess straddled both into one, but I labeled it as a Storyteller submission due to its nature.
**Austin and Michelle both wrote less than 600 words for Storyteller, therefore both are ineligible to win immunity, but both will get to vote this round.
Anyway, let's do Write Your Own results first.
Anthony, we all loved your concept and unique spin upon things, but we ultimately felt that your product was rushed and that there were too many over-the-top events that seemed unrealistic in your depicted reality.
Tracy, your effort was clear and your time commitment was applauded, but your concept wasn't original and it bored most of us, and your convoluted formatting made it somewhat harder to read. Despite this, your effort points were a big deal.
Ultimately...
ANTHONY WINS IMMUNITY
There we go.
Anthony: 155.5 points
Tracy: 108 points
Yeah, expected xD
And now, for Storyteller~
Coming in last place...
Yau-Jess with 109 points
Jess, we were all confused by your idea and what exactly it was supposed to be. It had no relation to the game whatsoever, and although your effort was much appreciated, it fell short in other categories.
In third place...
Heidi with 117 points
Heidi, nothing really stood out about yours. It was too much of a recap with random, almost nonsensical story elements thrown in. The hat granting me my laser eyes was easily the thing we enjoyed most, but after that, there was nothing to make you stand out. Pick apart the recap and focus on the story.
That means our top two are DD and Parvati.
We enjoyed both of them a lot, really, so picking a winner was hard.
PARVATI WINS IMMUNITY!
Really now. Has Parvati ever not won a writing challenge?
What makes this unique is that one did The Hunger Games: Manchuria and the other did Battle Royale for UG. Similar concepts with different executions.
It was relatively close for several of us, but Parvati won 185 to 159 - 26 points difference. DD's story was unfinished and that ultimately cost her points - especially considering how the name "Kenny" was only mentioned once, with no introduction. We felt that you didn't allot enough time to go over what you had, while Parvati's product was extremely polished and got one of the highest scores we've ever given. DD, you should be proud of what you did - what you had was really good, it just couldn't beat Parvati.
Parvati, since you're a jury member, it is ultimately your call. There are NO Vetoes in play this season, so what you do is 100% up to you. Are you going to give immunity to someone else or are you going to take that immunity out of play, leaving everyone but Anthony vulnerable for the upcoming double TC?
I will post Tribal later today, pending this decision. Sorry again for the wait!
